How Can We Help?
FAQs
Is my data destroyed from my IT/e-waste?
Unless other agreements have been made, all hard drives and/or solid-state drives are wiped according to NIST SP 800-88r1 standards. If a drive fails the wiping process, it is mechanically destroyed at our location. This renders each item as unusable for its original manufactured purpose. Mechanical drive destruction, such as shredding, is available at your location (fees may apply).
Do you provide a Release of Liability and a Certificate of Destruction after data has been destroyed on my IT/e-waste?
Upon request, a Release of Liability and/or a Certificate of Destruction is provided, when allowed by state law, once the chain of custody has reached IT Recycling Answers and the items are inventoried.
What states are included in nationwide no-cost, IT/e-waste recycling?
We provide no-cost, IT/e-waste recycling to the lower 48 states, and can be there within 48 hours after the discovery process has been completed.
How do I qualify for zero cost services?
During the discovery phase as we learn of the specific needs of your organization we will qualify the pick up based on weight, volume, substance and long term needs to verify services will be zero cost. In the event it is determined that a charge is needed, that will be quoted ahead of scheduling any service.
What IT/e-waste will you recycle?
